CPRE Buckinghamshire is a registered charity dedicated to the protection of our local countryside and its wildlife. We are a local branch of the national CPRE charity.

The Buckinghamshire countryside is well known for its rolling hills, stunning woodland trails, wide meandering rivers and deeply wooded valleys. We take action to protect the natural beauty of these landscapes for both people and wildlife.

Our vision:

A beautiful and living Buckinghamshire countryside that is valued and enjoyed by everyone.

Our aims:

  • To promote and enhance the character of the Buckinghamshire countryside
  • To promote a more sustainable approach to land use
  • To defend the Buckinghamshire countryside from damaging development

CPRE has a long history of achievements in defending the beauty, diversity and tranquillity of the English countryside, encouraging the sustainable use of land and successfully campaigning for measures such as National Parks and Green Belts.

We work with a wide range of people and organisations, both locally and nationally, who share our views and passion to keep the countryside safe.

CPRE Bucks operates in the area administered by Buckinghamshire County Council - including the four district councils of Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe - and by Milton Keynes Council.
