CPRE Bucks supports letter by the Colne Valley Regional Park to the Secretary of State Michael Gove.

Colne Valley Regional Park (CVRP) has recently written to Michael Gove to explain seven positive suggestions for improvement to the government’s planning policy. The CVRP is overseen by a Community Interest Company (CIC), but only 1% of the area is owned by the CIC; the rest is in private and public hands.

The letter comes in response to the CIC’s major concern about alarming increases in commercially-driven projects that are completely unsuitable in the Park.  Threats against the CVRP and the Green Belt as a whole, have reached crisis point.
